The Jackson Philatelic Society (JPS) is an active group of philatelic enthusiasts and a point of contact for the public in all philatelic related queries. The society is an educational organization fostering the knowledge and understanding of geography, history and cultures, both in a national as well as an international context, through the collection and exchange of US and international postage stamps. The society is a member of the non-profit American Philatelic Society, based in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.

Membership: The society is open to everybody over the age of 16 who is interested in the collection and history of postage stamps. Children (under 16) of members are welcome as Junior Members, but need to be accompanied by an adult parent, when attending meetings.

Membership Dues:  Annual membership: individual $ 5; family $10.-; There are no fees for Junior Members and members under 18 years of age.

Meeting Place / Time: The new location for JPS meetings from October 15, 2022, will be held at the address and exact location noted here: “103, Winners Circle, Flowood, MS 39032″ at ” Main Meeting Room” .

Members who plan to attend a meeting via Zoom, Should contact the webmaster Vijay Vedala for the meeting code and password.

Non – member visitors should contact the president to receive password and code.

To facilitate outstation members the meetings Or on “Zoom”, only if members can not attend due to unforeseen circumstance please contact the President who will accommodate request to attend the meeting by Zoom.

Service: If you have a stamp collection or accumulation, which you desire to sell, dispose of or donate, contact us and a member of the JPS may be able to assist you in the valuation of it.
